I graduated college in August and decided to move here to teach English. This is my first time living outside of the states. I will try to post here regularly with whats going on in my life. Don’t judge me when 90% of my posts are about me getting drunk off Thai Whiskey and beer.

I made my kids cry

Yesterday was the last day of school before summer break.

On Thursday I brought my camera and had a picture taken of me with my favorite class - 4A (4th graders).  I went to the photoshop that night and had 30 copies made so I could give one to each student.  I came in on Friday and handed them out.  About 5 minutes later one of the girls started crying and then all of a sudden every single kid except for a few boys was crying.  One of the Thai teachers had to come in and tell them to calm down.  It took about 25 minutes for all of the kids to get a hold of themselves.  One of the girls came up and grabbed me while she was sobbing into my shirt.   They all know I am leaving to go to a new school.  I tried to tell them I would be back to see them but it just made them cry more.

Way to make me feel like an asshole, kids.
