My friend Rich has a stalker. He started talking to this girl on an internet dating site (I tried to warn him of the possible consequences). He ended up hanging out with her only one night - brought her back to his place and then sent her on her way. This was a week ago.
I got a call from him last night telling me she was stalking him. She has been calling him nonstop asking where he is and what he is doing. I guess she was even crying during one of their conversations because she thought they were ‘soul mates’ . She has also been following him around, telling him that she has seen him at certain restaurants and shops.
Things got worse last night. We came back to our apartment complex around 2 in the morning. After we made our way upstairs his phone rang - it was the stalker. She told him that she was outside the apartment building and was wondering if she could come in. Rich told her no and that she needed to leave. After arguing with each other for a few minutes she decided she would sleep in her car. Her reasoning for this was because it would still feel like they were ‘close’ to each other. If it weren’t for the security guard downstairs she probably would have been waiting outside his room.
